during the winter months bass are moving slow so i fish really fast as fast as ican. i make as much noise as possible. i wake up around noon and get out on the water about 4. my first choice when bass fishing is using bread it seems to not work at all it always fall off the hook. my 2 choice is poring dr. pepper all around my boat the sweetness will scare all the fish away. as the day goes on and im not catching anything i whip out my bottle of whiskey and pretend im catching big bass its a blast so try these tips on bass fishing and you will be a top angler.
GOOD LUCK

the best luck ive had in the winter is with a large rapala crankbait....diving to about 10' depth and bouncing it off of any rocks or sticks i can find. this trick has landed some of the biggest bass ive ever caught in some of the coldest weather ive ever been in. last year my fishing partner and i consistently caught fish from 3 to 8 pounds all day using just crankbaits... shad color has always been the biggest producer of fish, but i also use the white or chartruese colors in clearer water....they work great to. i sit about 15'to20' off the rocks and cast parralel with the shore line and let it hit off of any rocks on the way....i landed a 7 pound largemouth last saturday doing this... it never fails.
